What Did You Do as a Child?
What did you do as a child that made the hours slip away like minutes?
It’s a question that haunts me.
So much of adulthood is about reclaiming the curiosity, joy, and passion we had as children.
One of the best ways to do this is to reconnect with an activity that made time vanish in your youth.
A sport. (American football.)
A hobby. (Video games.)
A creative pursuit. (Storytelling.)
For me, it’s working with my hands and spinning tales.
I used to think I wanted to retell interesting stories. I wanted to craft my own heroes and create great tales.
This, of course, ties into my fondness for talking—sorry, not sorry.
Recently, I’ve started courses and explored content to reignite that joy and pick up new skills along the way.
