Master A Small Skill Fast
Stop Studying
Outline a project.
Build it.
Hit a roadblock.
Find the emotion that sparked your excitement.
Write it down clearly so the reader can feel it too.
Repeat until it’s done.
Most people seem to get lost in tutorials. Years slip by—nothing to show for it.
Two reasons I think this works best for most:
- You learn what you need. Not generic knowledge. Targeted learning sticks. It’s fine not to get it right the first time. What matters is that it applies now.
- You create something. Each finished project proves your ability. You don’t just “learn”; you build. Your skills and your portfolio grow together.
Stop for the day while you still know what comes next.
Don’t just watch tutorials.
Start doing the thing.
Hugs through cyberspace!
Stay woke, my reader folk.
